The biggest difference from the previous model is that Spiral X is used for the blanks. It is more resistant to twisting and crushing, but how does this work in actual fishing for horse mackerel? In one word, it can be felt as sharpness. For example, until now, you may have felt dullness in the blanks when fishing in deep areas or for reactions. The new Soare SS Ajing is equipped with Spiral X, making it easier to operate as intended even in situations where a load is applied. It is also easy to perform reaction fishing in day games, such as moving the jig head rig sharply and stopping it, and you can feel the improved operability. In addition, sharpness quickly converges the shaking during casting, improving casting accuracy and making it easier to cast distances. However, sharpness does not mean a rod with a tight tension, but each model is designed to be optimal. Horse mackerel will get worn out if you move the lure too sharply, but the SUL-S model in particular has a flexible tip that makes it easy to give the horse mackerel the action it likes. Delicate luring that requires skill can be done automatically. Furthermore, the tip of the SUL-S has a sagging feel, and it expresses bites that cannot be detected by hand sensitivity through bites and line changes. It is also effective as a countermeasure against reluctance to bite in high-pressure areas. Spiral X
Overcomes twisting and crushing, improving rod performance from the ground up.
Spiral X is a three-layer structure in which carbon tape is densely wound in opposite directions on the inner and outer layers of the rod's vertical fibers. The inner and outer diagonal fibers achieve high torsional rigidity and crushing rigidity while maintaining lightness. This is Shimano's unique "basic structure" that improves instantaneous power transmission during fishing actions such as casting and fighting, maintains lightness, and enhances the "ground power for catching."

High power X

A reinforced structure that further suppresses twisting that occurs during casting and fighting. The feature is that the carbon tape is tightened in an X shape from the outermost layer of the spiral X or the carbon sheet vertical and horizontal crossing structure. TAFTEC

Ci4
Ci4 is a Shimano original material reinforced with carbon fiber that is lighter and has a higher strength than conventional resin material. C14 is an advanced version of the original CI4 material and is 2.5x more rigid than its predecessor. While improving lightness and rigidity, reel bodies, rotors and reel seats built with C14 are further reduced in size and weight.
